Prayer

Oh Lord, MY Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the Heavens. When I consider the works of Your fingers - the moon and the stars that You have set in place, who am I that You are mindful of me? Yet You crowned me with glory and honor for YOUR NAMES SAKE.

I will praise You with all of my heart; I will tell of your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise Your name O Most High. I can trust You God, for You have never forsaken those who seek You.

God, search my heart. Show me where I wandered yesterday. What people, activities, or things became more important than You? Do I have one master or am I serving two? Forgive me. Bring to mind where I need forgiveness from You and from others.

God, let your agenda win today. Let me spend time on your priorities. Let me be productive in Kingdom issues while not sacrificing my earthly activities and responsibilities. Bring to me today a person whom I can serve, and give me the wisdom to recognize each opportunity. Give me strength to parent according to your calling, with a heavy dose of patience and wisdom. I can not do it alone.

All these things I ask in Your great name.
